Cathy has always had a fascination with the lines, curves and shapes of cars, motorcycles – and transportation vehicles of all kinds.
The first tile “car” creation for Cathy was a mural of a 1957 Desoto tailfin – a car in brilliant yellow that foretold things to come. It was somewhat abstract, a quarter view of the iconic rear end of a very stylized 50s classic. This particular mural was mounted on a large rectangular, framed panel on small posts and a pedestal.
